how Garrett Riley was good enough at TCU (and one of the hottest assistant coaches in college football) to get the job at Clemson, but now looks like he has never seen or called plays against a good defense? He is likely going to be the biggest bust at Clemson other than Tommy Bowden. His offense is so easily defended it’s ridiculous. No movement, no true screen pass, no misdirection, and certainly no imagination.

I think Georgia exposed his gimmick in the natty a couple years ago. Teams with a pulse are able to completely control the game. At some point we can’t keep hiring and firing coordinators.

That’s fine then. Maybe Dabo needs to hire better coordinators, and get rid of his nepo coaches. Riley was probably just a bust. But man I don’t see elite teams firing their coordinators. Their coordinators leave for Head Coaching positions

Because he has a lousy offensive line at Clemson and he had a better offensive line at tcu.

He caught lightning in a bottle that one year at TCU. It happens. Cinderella story, caught everyone off guard until they got to the championship game. We are most opponents’ Super Bowl each year. We aren’t catching anyone by surprise. It’s a totally different situation.

everyone complains it is the same few plays we run. If you look at him he has this tiny piece of paper which can't hold much. Lets get him a waffle house sized menu to fill out.
