Heard a wise man say today that our electorate (voters) are

basically stupid as in not well-educated in civic matters especially in relationship to their rights given in Their magnificent Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Our public school systems overall have been going down & down in educating our population and much of it has to do with Democratic lead Teachers Unions and teaching officials embedded within the school programs that have allowed this travesty.

For instance, a majority of American “Citizens” don’t know how the electoral system works and that a President isn’t elected by the majority of votes across the country (as Hillary said).

Our astute Founders knew that large cities or states could overshadow smaller populated areas (like a Democratic held NY state or Calif would)..

and that the United States is a Republic made up of 50 individual states with each having equal powers within them especially concerning voting & balloting discretion given to the state’s Legislatives ONLY..

and NOT to their Governors, Sec of State or Attorney General as happed in several key blue Democratic states in 2020 which was illegal according to the Constitution.

Thus, a Presidential candidate has to win as many states by popular vote and reach the number needed to win.

Saying, in 2016 Trump “won” the election & “popular” vote too by winning more Popular Votes in the 50 states than Hillary.

If she’d campaigned in Wisconsin, which she didn’t, maybe she would have won that state’s popular vote and thus the Presidency.

As Trump said, if the Constitution said he had to win the National Popular National Vote vs the required individual State Popular Vote, he’d run a different contest.

Our Founders knew that Mob Rule or Over Population in a few big cities or states that many might lean towards one political party would tilt the scales of Democracy.

With this in mind, bet you noticed that Dems have fought hard to change the Constitution and take the state’s vote/ballot power away and put it under the Federal Government?!

At this time in history with a Democratic POLITICAL Party and its far-left Administration in tight control and espousing Socialist, Marxist & Communist ideology of Wokeness, militarization of the Justice System, using the FBI as its personal police force against opponents, etc..

you can see why there MUST be separation of powers and that the individual states of The United States MUST be in control of voting/balloting procedures..or we will be finished as a great nation!!

Go AMERICA!

is a relic from the 1800s, at least. This isn't a country divided between cityfolk and farmers anymore. That's just dumb.

Especially when divided into States divided by random borders.

The concept was based on political realities in the 1700s and not some infallible genius of the founding fathers or perfect democratic doctrine which equitably represents all citizens. It was a pretty good compromise for the times and gives an allusion of democracy, but fair game for criticism.
