I’d say it’s better than good, but I’d agree not GREAT. We don’t eat there too often, but we always enjoy it when we do.

Clemson institution.
Super cool building - half burned down near the old Railroad depot.
Mashed Potatoes come from a box.
1826 in Pendleton is the best. Vangelis in Seneca is excellent. Rick Erwin's is solid.

We have been to 1826 a couple of times and really enjoyed both meals. Highly recommend

Not many choices around Clemson, but this place is a go to. Not the best but up there.

Calhoun Corners and Pixie & Bill's are both in the same family, literally. The Corontzes family has owned both Clemson fine dining establishments for years and years and while their menus are different, you can get a delicious and enjoyable meal at both. These two Clemson restaurants offer local patrons and visitors a place to relax, and enjoy great meals and libations in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

I live in Charleston and get to enjoy many fantastic restaurants. As a foodie, it’s incredible. With that said, Calhoun Corners is very good. Every single time I’m in Clemson, I set a reservation ahead of time. Extremely pleased every single time.

very good. cozy atmosphere. not stuffy.
always have great meals there - we like to eat at the bar
i'd say it's on par with Rick Erwin's with a more casual atmosphere and slightly lower prices
IMO head and shoulders above Pixie & Bills
