Caden Grice vs Seth beer

I believe Caden Grice has the opportunity to be better the Seth beer. Grice is absolutely crushing it right now and really coming along. The only case I can make for monte lee is he has brought in some good talent. I would expect super regionals and maybe Omaha with the talent this team has.

Caden is a better contact hitter. He has a lot of opposite field hits. He may have more power, but he has some work to do to catch up to beers home run numbers. Caden is also a better athlete, if Seth beer could run he would be a major leaguer right now.

Truth. Seth Beer has no position in the field he can play at the MLB level, so only fantastic hitting will get him to the show. Lee should have allowed him to develop skills at first base.

I just looked up Beer’s HR numbers. 18, 16, 22 for a total of 56 over his 3 years. Caden certainly can make a run at those.

Doug Kingsmore has for some reason been a place Louisville struggles. Really no logical reason for it, Louisville has been a significantly better program than Clemson during Montes tenure. They are essentially what Clemson used to be. They just struggle to win in Clemson. It’ was a great series win, but again, you have to keep it in perspective based off past results on what each team has done after that series .
In my opinion, Clemson has to beat S. Carolina in Game 3 to get to the Tourny. And Monte is now 14-20 versus the SEC , so a win there is definitely no certain thing. That or win the Acc Tourny. The issue with Monte and Tournament time , at that point, no one is overlooking anyone. And when you play teams with equal or greater talent, it will usually come down to small things in a game(fundamentals). And Clemson has been the least sound fundamental team in every regional they’ve been in.

GOSH I WOULD EXPECT COACH LEE FEELS LIKE THAT ALSO. THIS IS A YOUNG TEAM THAT IS FINALLY GETTING THEIR SEA LEGS
