For some reason, the refs decided not to reward stupidity. I don't think they could believe their eyes that a QB would roll back that far into the end zone.

Cade makes a lot of boneheaded plays and decisions.

Part of it is somewhat understandable; his receivers have trouble getting open, and he doesn't get very good protection. I appreciate that he's s fierce competitor and doesn't want to take a loss or throw the ball away; he wants to fight and make something out of nothing. He's got to learn though, when to eat the ball and when to throw it away. It was amazing, and very telling last night, how Miami's true freshman QB looked more mature and composed in his 1st start than Cade did in his 8th or 9th as a soph.
