Hats off to TL and our receiving crew tonight! They really showed their tenacity after getting shaken up. They showed their character by playing their guts out. I couldn’t believe how many guys seemed banged up. Physical game. Not to mention that HC Day said he wanted Clemson to know how “violent” their defense was. Hmmmm, hence the 2/3 no calls on other targeting plays to ETN ... the ripping of our receivers jerseys on every play .... multiple late hits to TL. I felt like after that targeting on TL, they awoke a beast mode in him. He had that look in his eyes & you could just sense that he was dialed in from that point. I turned to my son and said “oh they’re gonna pay now.”
