all his predictions for us going to the Big 12. Anyone still hearing from him? Fall ball is starting soon, so I guess we need to close this chapter.
I would certainly love to hear some apologies from that guy though. Much ado about nothing.

way better for Clemson in the long run than joining a football conference.
I know a lot of Clemson fans on here have known this for a while, but I think a lot of people outside the ACC are just now realizing what a genius move it was of Swofford and the ACC to add those two schools to strengthen the conference.
Even the Dude abides.

The ball is in CLemson's court. If we want a spot we'll have to call them first.
Personally, I think the Dude is FOS. I'm sure he "hears" some things, but he doesn't have a filter. He can't determine what is legit and what is bs, so he posts everything he hears (if it is what he wants to happen).

I think the dude is on to something , it just takes longer than a few months to pan out . I mean Swofford came to Clemson to speak to our board of trustees , how many times has that happened for any school in the ACC . Just remeber the world of college football is constantly changing now and that not looking for the best deal around will get us left behind for sure . Also if adding Syracuse and Pitt was such a smart move why did the Big12 go with WV and why was the Big10 not knocking down their door to get them to join?

How many reasons for going to the Big 12 have to be repeatedly shown to be complete fabrications (it will help with money...it will help with recruiting...it's a path to the National Champion...) before you guys realize that the reason we're not going to the Big 12 is because almost everything about it would suck?

post toward you. Really it was directed to people who are, no doubt, going to rehash this rumor every summer. The fundamentals simply don't support it. It's like if someone posted "Oh, the Czech Republic is going to become the 51st state" and everyone got bent out of shape about it. Clearly it is absurd on the surface.
I know you weren't saying that the Dude had any validity.
