Hello,

I’m a parent at Clemson, and my daughter will be a senior next fall. We would like to reserve a spot for our RV in the tailgate area on Family Weekend game day. Could you please let me know who I should contact for the details of making this reservation? Any tips or information would be greatly appreciated.

I’m sure someone with more knowledge than me will respond, however, from what I know the camper/rv spaces behind Jervey are for season ticket holders and IPTAY members. I believe the minimum required IPTAY donation was pretty large to get access to that lot.

There is a RV park in Pendleton that is quite popular and could be an option. You would need to contact them very early (once you know the dates for parents weekend).

Advice from others?

Yes, I think RV park in Pendleton in the viable option. I’m not sure about if they have transportation over to campus though (in case you don’t have a car).

oh wow thats crazy. thank you for the information. Do you know where I can rent the regular tailgate spaces with tents near the football stadium? Or in the tailgate area?

Yes. It isn’t cheap. You’re better off looking for a pass for that lot on stubhub or drop $25k a year until you build enough points in Iptay to earn a spot. I know people still waiting since the 80’s.

All of the parking spaces near the stadium annd not so near are for IPTAY members. We pay a lot of money annual to IPTAY for the right to purchase parking and seats in the stadium. You will need to purchase a spot for that game on the secondary market and it will not be cheap.

I would just rent a lake house on Hartwell or Keowee for the weekend. We've done it several times and usually 20 minutes away from Clemson.

Buy someones parking pass

All lots are season ticket holders. You just buy a parking pass from someone for a close lot but expect to pay a few hundred or more depending on game. You are probably talking about lot 5 and lot 6 area. Stubhub and others will sell there next season for parking as they resell tix and parking passes.
