I’m tired of losing to them.
Chase was amazing in the second half. That was probably the best half of basketball I’ve seen a Tiger play. It’s too bad he was a non-factor in the first half.
Chauncey needs to step up. He’s inconsistent and unsure of himself. We really need him to be our third scorer after Chase and Ian.
I liked what I saw out of Heidbreder tonight. He’s getting in a nice groove lately.
Tough loss, our second in a row. We played hard. This was an intense, physical game. I’m hoping these are the kind of games that will pay dividends in March.
We really need to build some momentum here early in the conference schedule. I’m glad we are 1-0, let’s make it 2-0 against Wake on Saturday. We don’t need to go on a 3 game losing streak.

From Cliff Ellis to Brad Brownell, I’ve always just asked one thing out of our whomever our coach is , beat the coots and win the Thursday night (8 vs 9 seed) play-in game against Florida State in the ACC Tournament

When will you address the underachieving? Specifically as you apply your understanding of the concept to football and why it doesn’t warrant mention after these last two basketball games.

That’s what homers do. They ignore what’s right in front of their face. This is typical Brownell. We have better players now for sure but his issues aren’t magically disappearing. The same can be seen with Dabo. Better players and/or a better staff hide his consistent issues. The difference between Brad and Dabo is Dabo is a proven championship level coach.

I guess you didn’t watch. Dillion played most of the game until he was ejected in the 2nd for flagrant two.
This team has weaknesses. There is no consistent elite scorer. That one guy that can drop 30 and carry the team. Sure, Chase does it here and there but he disappears too much.
Too many mental mistakes. They don’t seem situationally prepared.
Brads record speaks for itself. He’s rarely made he tournament and only made one really deep run in 15 years. If he was the football coach he would be gone. I’m sick of us not investing in the basketball program like we do baseball and football.
Time for the Brad run to end over a decade ago. Believing anything changed fulfills the definition of insanity.

Yea South Carolina has not played that good all year and probably won't again for the rest of the season. I did notice South Carolina flopped a lot also. It was comical when they would show the replay of a foul and could clearly see they flopped.

Coaching shows itself to be good or bad in close games… Brownell is BAD when it counts even in close wins the Tigers win in spite of stupidity from the head coach.

All the bigwigs at work are UK fans - in fact the big boss was saying that perhaps beating them put a curse on Clemson. With back-to-back OT losses, I'm inclined to believe him.
All jokes aside, Clemson has had great momentum starting this season, and it's way too early to hit a cold streak

Chauncey Wiggins- 30 minutes-7 points and 3 rebounds for the 6'10" forward.
He is what he is, which is soft. He makes Milton Jennings look badass.
Carolina shot well and we were fortunate that they missed some critical free throws in regulation that allowed Chase to make a ridiculous shot to get the game in OT. We were also fortunate that USC didn't foul us in the backcourt to prevent the 3 pointer.
This was a disappointing loss, but we played hard, never gave up and Carolina shot over 50% from 2 and over 40% from 3, which will beat you most nights.
The sky isn't falling. This is still a good team, but I would like to see more Myles Foster at 6'7" and 245 lbs than Chauncey, who has not been effective.

Totally shocked that scar didn't foul him at midcourt because it would only have been 1.5 seconds left max. Even if chase makes the first and intentionally miss the 2nd, odds favor the leading team. Meh, scar missed a lot of ft as you mentioned.
I think at this point, you have to give more minutes to myles. He's a bad ft shooter but he can play D. Certainly don't want to crush wiggins confidence but it may do him good to ride the pine. But we're not in practice either.
Being road games, both scar and Boise should both be at worst 2 quad 2 losses which ain't bad.
