I have been following Clemson recruiting since the 80s. Never seen anything like this....the level of choosiness is incredible.

This! I was thinking the same thing when I read it. We just get a quality person, and a great athlete, with Dabo and his staff. Our guys seem to be a "cut above" the rest in character and talent, nowadays.

Dannngggg this kid has his head firmly on the right things to do, and what he needs to continue to do... He also has a easy way of speaking about how it all must come together for himself, and controlling what he can control, and having the patients to allow what he feels he can earned to fall into place... He also seems to be really confident with his ability, and when it's time, he will take a hold of the opportunity and roll with it. I really like this kid, and I believe that he will become a great college RB, and I really hope we can get him in our FB program!!!

This kid has speed, vision, moves, and seems to be pretty slippery with the way he can slip out the grasp of tacklers of clogged up running lanes. If I was a Clemson coach I would offer him. He needs to put on a little weight and muscle, but that is what our Training table and Joey Batson is for. Tony, do what must be done and get this kid in our FB program. I don't know why he isn't a 5 star but, he looks as good as any of the 5 stars I've seen. His character plus his 4 star rating equals a Clemson 5 star guy!!!

I agree, this is one of the better interviews ive ever heard a potential recruit give... I wouldnt be surprised if he was eventually a 5 star, but it's still too early in the process. With that said, it's going to be interesting to see which RB's Clemson shows interest in knowing that they can only take one. At this point it seems like the staff likes Evan Pryor, Phil Masehf and #1 Apb Will Shipley. Obviously theres still so much time between the 2021 signing day, that im sure a number of others will emerge...
I watched some of Will Shipley's film which was interesting because he played Laden Zannders in high school, and Shipley really got the better of Zanders throughout the game
