French fries with mayonnaise. Learned to love that when we lived in Germany as a kid. Also mixes well with the bubbalo sauce.

It still is. We’ve been recently, and it was a great trip. Great beer, too, but even better to visit some of the awful accommodations they had for Jewish people and our captured troops. It’s gut wrenching to think that human beings could do that to other human beings.

I was in Berlin a couple times last 8yrs. You have to watch areas as the Turk gangs have become pretty violent. Lot of graffiti around the city but the old part of town was very interesting. Got to see a lot of WW2 damage still, saw stretches of the wall, still have US troops standing at guard downtown, pretty interesting. The food was really good but my grandmother was German so I was used to lot of dishes. The historical areas and new downtown are nice in Berlin.
I really want to see some smaller towns but I was there for work.

listening to Sergio Mendes and Brasil 66 on a turntable at 33 rpm's ... a real out of body experience in a trendy area formerly behind the Berlin Wall ... with excellent drinks.

I used to date a girl that dipped her fries in mayonnaise. It came as no surprise that she also liked to swallow.

I usually go ketchup or plain. Occasionally I’ll mix a little chili powder into the ketchup.

I once saw NYCtiger09 eat 25 tenders, a basket of fries, and drink a pitcher of beer. I wouldn't believe it if I hadn't seen it with my own two eyes.

But, I do go to their sister restaurant in Greer a lot on Sundays. Best meat + three we have found in the Greenville area.
I tend to get a different meat each time, but typically get the green beans, collard greens, and fried green tomatoes as the sides.

I didn't know the Esso Club had a sister restaurant. What's the name of the one in Greer?
