Brownell postgame - probably the most pathetic to date

If you have 10 minutes of your life to waste like I did, check it out.
Here are some quick notes:
- We’re below average on defense and no one on this team is good on defense
- We’ve done every drill we can think of, and the guys still don’t get it
- We’re undersized at a lot of positions (it’s year 12)
- It’s probably a recruiting problem (it’s year 12)
- We terribly miss Aamir Simms (it’s late January)
- When asked if he could lose his team and the end of the season could really spiral out of control, he says “Yeah that could happen.”

Our new AD is very sharp, I look for him to have a new plan for Clemson basketball an it’s future. Dan didn’t want to take the chance but Neff might just have a solution that will help our program grow.
If we don’t finish strong I believe it will be Brads last year as head coach. They could keep him as an assistant coach but I doubt it.
We should hire a up & coming young coach that is willing to challenge the norms to be successful. Maybe we could hire a really good mid-major coach who we could afford.
Thank you Brad for all you have done keeping it clean & pushing the players to excel in school.

That was pretty painful to watch. I feel sorry for the players and Brownell too. He appears to be beaten down and not enjoying his job anymore. Brownell and the players need a coaching change.

I agree. I’ve actually really liked Brad ever since he got to Clemson. He’s not a bad guy. Like you said, it’s just painful to watch right now.
We need a change, our players need a change, and Brad needs it too.
Maybe he’ll even step down at end of season, and maybe there is an admin position for him at Clemson.
