DJU played horribly, but he wasn't helped out at all by his receivers. There had to be 5-10 drops of easy passes that hit the receivers in the hands. Its like they expect him to throw it short or over their head and when it hits them in the hands, they are caught off-guard.
We had the same problems with drops by our receivers when he was here.... so much so we didn't know if DJU was the problem or not.
After seeing two years of him, and two years of him at Or St and FSU.... its DJU. He must bring good receivers down with him.

Correct Bret!! Catching passes from DJ is like duck hunting........virtually all by chance. First the duck has to come close enough to you (by chance) and then you have to be able to kill it (catch it). The way those wounded ducks are flying around on the reservation, the chances become lower & lower and the Seminole Nation starves.

The go fast QB sneak on 4th and a foot was very well done.
His one scramble for a 1st down was maybe his best decision with his first read covered all game.
Too bad he was the same old Vegas one armed bandit the rest of the time.
FSU might be better off just benching him, writing off this season, and develop the rest of the QB room.

I hate it for you too Bret but like us you got more issues than the QB. I thought the noles D line Vs GT was maybe a hangover thing playing over seas. But BC ran thru it on your home turf. And only 21 yds rushing. Yikes!! That’s a serious problem. Maybe Norvelle and Swiney are out of their league without great assistants?

Hmm .. lets not lose sight of the big picture - FSU’s ship has effectively sunk however, we’re taking on water ourselves, at least until we get our offense on track and the Coaches open it up .. wave by to them, though while looking over our own shoulders ..

When a rival loses and gets embarrassed first on a global platform, and then on a national platform back to back after buying a team like guys do every year in a fantasy league game, Bret expects his rivals to drill him when he is down.
It’s patronizing to give sympathy. I, for one, get as much joy out of watching Clemson rivals lose in embarrassing ways and in a glorious manner, as I do watching Clemson win.
It’s in my DNA. Don’t get me started on how I feel anytime the GameCoots struggle in any sport on any day.
Lastly, I don’t want any falsetto sympathy when Clemson loses. Give me whatever smack talk you have ! What doesn’t kill me msjes me stronger .
