Spud's rear brakes on her Nissan Rogue were grinding something awful so I called my mechanic and told him she really wanted to go to the mall to get something new for a COUPLE'S BABY shower we are going to today for one of my coot nephews....and could he work it in. Well sirs, Chris, at Superior Auto in Easley said he could do just that and to bring it right on in and leave it...So I did, and Mrs. Spud followed me in my Yukon Denali......Well, on the way I called my old roommate who just had an horrendous week of an achilles rupture, followed by not one,but two bouts of a virus...Anyway, I ran in and dropped off the keys and scooted back out to the Denali to ride back to the house with Mrs. Spud and she says," I heard you talking to Scott about his achilles for just a second or two..."...
Boys, if you wife is ever following you and she is in your car...DON'T CALL YOUR GIRLFRIEND!!!!
My Denali had picked up my phone signal when Mrs. Spud got close to me!!!!! WHew DaddY!! Ole Spud dodged a bullet on that one!!!

True Story: I was driving through Seneca when mobile phones were relatively new. I was near a tower and a phone started ringing through my radio. A girl answered. It was an (unnamed) assistant coach at Clemson calling his girlfriend to tell her he was taking a job at another school. She was disraught. He tried to calm her by saying he would send for her as soon and he got his "family" settled in.
I had always heard that guy was a total jerk. Now I had evidence.
