Bowl reorganizing

Instead of these bowl tie ins I say rank the bowls from 1-32 (or however many they have). Then take the teams and place them in bowls according to rank. Ex 1 vs 2, 3 vs 4, 5 vs 6, and so on. Reward a team for their record not just because of the conference they are in

Yea ther is some bias in the rankings but I would rather see Clemson play 18 Wisconsin instead of unranked Oklahoma

That will never happen because of $$$. A number of the bowls are regional in nature and only sell tickets because a portion of the fan bases are within manageable driving distance. Do you think the Belk Bowl and Charlotte would agree to host Fresno State and Washington. This type of thing could happen with an all rankings system. That is why they just signed a deal to match an ACC team against the SEC (and still had lots of empty seats).

SEC teams ranked next to each other so they wouldnt have to play any OOC games in bowl season either
