That’s how I feel during football season when Finebaum says something complimentary about Clemson. I sleep like a baby knowing that he thinks favorably upon our school.
And I’m not alone. You see how upset Tiger fans get on here when Paul says something mean. I bet nobody sleeps well when that happens.

The only difference is that Boeheim is a former coach and knows what he is talking about while Finebaum is clueless.

In Boeheim’s first 14 seasons (his first as a head coach anywhere), he made the NCAA tourney 13 times. Most of this was in the 32 team tourney era. He won 4 regular season Big East championships and two Big East tournament championships. He made a Final Four. He is being complimentary solely because of Joe Girard. He knows precisely where Brownell ranks as a coach.

He knows Brownell is a good coach. Otherwise, Girard would not be playing for Clemson.
