I know who you're talking about, and no. I don't know why, but Dabo has never done a very good job taking talent in-state. I was fine with it when we were getting 5 Stars from across the country, but it's strange to ignore talent right in our backyard. I played football early in Dabo's career for a well-known state powerhouse. We had 6-7 top state recruits playing for us. Dabo never visited to see them. One became a college all-american in the SEC, One became an NFL superstar, and four started for Spurrier during his dominance.

Yeah we really need to offer a kid whose only scholarship offer is from Erskine. Size apparently isn’t everything.

If they didn’t offer the Westside QB, whose parents are Clemson folks, doubt we’re going after a guy with hardly any offers.
