Better Quarterback A or B?

Oct 5, 2017, 12:09 AM

Comparing two college quarterbacks who would you choose to lead your team?

Quarterback A Height 6'2 Weight 222
Arm Length 32’ Hands 9 1/2 Bench Press - 40 Yard Dash 4.67 Vertical Jump 27.5
Broad Jump 116

First full College Season 3748 8.4 9.1 30 6 157.9
Leading Rusher on nfl team 252 four touchdowns

Quarterback B Height 6'2 Weight 221
Arm Length 33’ Hands 9 3/4 Bench Press DNP 40 Yard Dash 4.66 Vertical Jump 32.5
Broad Jump 119

First full College Season 4109 8.4 8.6 35 13 156.3
Leading Rusher on nil team 257 one touchdown

Right ....... so how on Earth did QB A get picked 9 spots ahead of QB B?

The same reason why Darnold will go #1 overall and most likely have the most interceptions in CFB. Scouts and GM's are completely clueless. That's why you see half of the teams looking for new QB's every year.

Not that I'm trying to defend QB A, but I guess to many teams/scouts, there are more than stats in football. Different QBs are in different teams, different situations, different receivers and so on, and so they're gonna get different results/stats.

QBs from teams like Alabama, USC. We all can see that most of them did really well in college, but failed in the NFL.

I guess that's that there. They mainly look at the potential. Not saying QB B won't be more successful than QB A. At this point, I'm very glad for QB B. Like Colin Cowherd once said on his show, "[QB B] won the draft."

Here is my opinion on Watson going behind the "others" in the NFL draft. There is no other explanation than, the one and only GOD!! He wanted DW4 to prosper and compete in the NFL. In my opinion the draft is a catch 22. You want our guys to go high in the draft, but that means they go to crap teams. I don't mean to disrespect anyone who pulls for Chicago or Cleveland, but I was much happier that Watson went to Houston where he had talent along his side (plus help out Nuk who deserved a QB). Not to mention a defense that can help them win games as well. I mean sure he would of had more money and known for going 2nd or whatever in the draft, but I much rather him be known for winning!! DW4 is a winner, that's what he does!! So I truly believe God was protecting him and putting him where he was supposed to be. Amen!
