Re:levant: Late night host preference?

being that it's Lenos's 2nd last night... http://www.avclub.com/article/jay-leno-was-good-at-being-bad-201043
I used to watch Leno, mainly because I don't particularly like Letterman, but also because it was the lead-in to Conan, which i used to watch all the time...
since the switch the TBS, though, I haven't really watched much...no reason other than i'm too lazy to find out where TBS is on the guide
I think Jimmy Fallon shook off a rocky start and is probably my favorite now. I'm looking forward to him moving up, though hopefully he doesn't have to tame his schtick down for the earlier timeslot like Conan did for those few months
Also looking forward to Seth Meyer, though I don't see him having quite the Conan-y or Fallon-y antics....i might be hoping for an hour long weekend update. every day.
indifferent about Jimmy kimmel
not a fan of letterman

Never Leno and only if Letterman has a good guest.
Used to watch Conan all the time back in college when I could stay up until 2 am without every night with no responsibility.
Only go to Conan with good guests as well. His interview with Bill Hader a couple weeks ago was hilarious. Actually watched that when it aired.

I hated Leno, especially after he effed over Conan. I watch

Conan some, Fallon if I'm up late (or highlights the next day), but the best is BY FAR Carson Daly*.
Fallon & Conan >> Leno & Letterman
1a. Conan 1b. Fallon (Roots make him 1b instead of 2) 2. Letterman 3. Kimmel 4. Leno 5. Craig Ferguson
*not sure if he still has a show.

Blame NBC not Leno

unless you think Leno decided to give himself 5 more years, then take a lame 10:00pm show. Then didn't like that and forced NBC to give him his show back and pay off $50M to Conan to go away.

don't watch any of them anymore

mostly because of my distaste of the Hollywood "non-celebrity" celebrity pop culture these days.
I used to be a huge Letterman fan and would watch his show almost every night (the NBC Larry "Bud" Melman days and before, even going back to when he had a morning show). I just loved his style of humor. He lost me as he aged (or I aged?) with the non-stop Bush bashing and political stuff.
I loved Conan too in his younger days but haven't watched him lately either. Never was a Leno fan really. I've never watched the other ones (Fallon, Kimmell, etc.) so I don't know what to say about them. What happened to Craig Kilborn?
I will still watch Letterman from time to time if he has an interesting guest (like Bill Murray the other night). Maybe twice a month (aka rarely). Now I mostly watch SportCenter, a late night ballgame, or even Bill O'Reilly until I crash out at 12-12:30am nightly.

I watch Leno and Letterman about equal

They do what they do just fine. Kimmel I think has a better more original show. I like what I've seen of Fallon which isn't much. Craig Ferguson is really good.
I DVR Stewart and Colbert, and I guess they are technically in the same category but I watch those 2 every night or day after and only either Letterman or Leno

Conan before TBS

Like you, I just haven't really watched him since he moved to TBS. Probably because if I'm thinking about watching something not on network TV, I'm going to explore the hundreds of other options I have other than a late night show.
