I see post about bourbons and etc, but I’m curious on Cologne. As I’m in my 30’s now the cologne I use to like isn’t the same to me. I just changed it up to spicebomb extreme and so far I’m happy with it. Just curious to see what people like, and does it correlate to age.

You shouldn't need cologne after age 25. Women, on the other hand, wear perfume for quite awhile.

I’m not a everyday user of cologne. Use it normally when I meeting customers from different airlines from around the world. A bottle normally last 2-3 years. Plus my wife likes it every now and then. Pheromones are a mystery but still women can be happy with different type of scents.

Burberry... women love it, even at my age. Yeah, I remember that green Polo stuff - and avoided it. I used Gray Flannel back in the day and the women liked that, too.

I loved Polo in college and my roomate loved Obsession. Broke a huge bottle of it in our room and it smelled forever. My go to in high school was the one I attached, I thought it meant it was going to happen more often lol

I put one squirt of Royal Vetiver mixed with a dab of Vaseline Intensive Care on my hands and then rub it over my entire face neck and ears ..... more for moisturizing after shaving and showering. More of an earthy fragrance and not over the top.

Sterling but my dad wore English Leather. When I started dating my husband in the late 80’s he wore Paul Sebastian. Not only did I not like the smell of it, I told him that several gay friends of mine wore it and I believed it was popular with gay men. He never wore it again 😳. For myself I like Jo Malone. Mostly for women but they also make unisex scents.

If you like Spicebomb Extreme, I've heard that Cremo's Spice and Black Vanilla is very similar and much much cheaper.

Polo Black, and Dolce and Gabana Light Blue - both were gifted and seem to work quite well on the giver.
It became a lot easier to pick out cologne after I got married. I just get the wife to do it.

Montblanc Legend, Burberry, Lacoste in the White bottle are all good. Aqua di Gio is also up there.
If you're trying to figure out what you like, check out altfragrances.com. They sell dupes but they're spot on. I got my wife hooked on the Crystal scent from them and it is intoxicatingly good. But you can get sampler packs on the cheap.

Avon used to make some really cool glass men's cologne bottles back in the day. I have one that is a glass golf cart with a little bag of plastic clubs on the back that belonged to my dad and was in his bathroom for years and now displayed in mine. One of my most cherished things.

Blu Atlas. You can thank me later. I've had women stop me in a bar or restaurant to ask me what I am wearing. I get more compliments on it than any cologne I've ever worn. Cologne Hack: Buy unscented lotion and mix a dime size drop in your hand with two squirts of cologne then apply lotion to neck and chest. Produces a longer lasting muted scent, plus is good for your skin.
