Why are you so sure that illegals are deeply religious Hispanic families? The majority of those crossing the border illegal are single young males.

Some vote Democrat to get free chit. Is there a flood of illegals because they are deeply religious and conservative so they want to live in the USA?

Why are you so sure illegals can't vote? What stops them from voting?

innocuous! Let's google just to be sure.

Oh, hey, it's an anti-immigration thinktank, founded by eugenecist and white nationalist John Tanton in 1985.

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) published reports in 2002[44] and 2009[45] on John Tanton, who founded CIS. Tanton is a retired Michigan ophthalmologist who opposed immigration on racial grounds, desired a white ethnic majority in the United States and advocated for eugenics.[46][12][47] The SPLC's 2009 report charged that "FAIR, CIS and NumbersUSA are all part of a network of restrictionist organizations conceived and created by John Tanton" who they said had "deeply racist" views, and said that the group had "frequently manipulated data" in order to promote anti-immigration goals.[45

Sounds like a top-notch, totally objective source you subscribe to, NJDEV. Nice work.

Our government sees illegal immigration as a national security issue, but 180-degrees differently than the author sees the situation. Our economy is NOT our grandfather's economy. Back in the day, 50, 80+ years ago, America literally stood on our own two feet. We were the world's largest industrial power, manufacturing power, and military power. I think it was George Carville who famously said "It's the economy stupid". He's right, but that doesn't just apply to Presidential elections. It also applies to labor, the great force we Americans ignore, that Marx built an ideology on. LABOR is what makes any economy great. And when a nation creates an economy that is limited by their domestic labor supply, they can then usurp foreign labor to further increase economic activity, and raise standards of living. This all began in the 1980's, and before really with Nixon and Kissinger. ALL REPUBLICANS. Yes, the irony abounds. While dems wanted to socialize domestic labor in the US, republicans sought foreign labor to add to domestic labor to drive the economy much higher than we alone could ever drive it alone and isolated.

The plan, and the system created, have largely worked. Just think about it. We have a 3.5% unemployment rate. We're technically at "full employment" and we have been almost continuously since the 1980's, with a few bumps along the way. But if you think about it, how many human beings on the planet are working for the American economy, either directly, or indirectly? There are millions, tens of millions, or more in China alone working for the US economy. 200,000+ people alone are making iPhones for Apple in China. There are likely more than a BILLION people who are working directly in, or indirectly for, our economy. That level of labor far surpasses what we possess inside our borders. We don't even have the level of labor needed within our borders, so we have to import labor, legally, illegally, doesn't matter as long as you work. Labor.

Now, take away external sources of labor, inside AND outside the US. What happens? Our economy collapses. IF our economy collapses, America will revolt, and it's game over. A collapse of the American economy is a much greater danger to those who lead us, than any danger posed by illegal immigrants. THIS IS WHY illegal immigration is a national security issue. WITHOUT ILLEGAL LABOR, the economic consequences would collapse our government, send us into a depression, and a likely civil war of some sort. It's the economy, stupid.

Now the xenophobes at Zerohedge will not understand what I just said, but I promise you Biden, TRUMP, Bush, Obama, CLINTON, Xi, Putin, the entire EU, and most billionaires worldwide, understand exactly what I am talking about. Elon Musk knows. He lost $80,000,000,000.00 yesterday. He (now) wants trade sanctions on China's labor, because we can't compete with it. China's economy, built on American demand, and the huge supply of Chinese labor, is toppling right now. That too has a huge impact on the US.

So yes, illegal immigrant LABOR is a national security issue that is far greater than the national security issue of their presence. We are an empire, an economic empire. We don't invade countries, we just protect them in return for them working for us. IN the past, Rome for example, created living standards far higher than Italy could ever produce alone. Nope, Rome conquered nations, peoples, countries, and used that LABOR to enrich the empire, mainly Rome and Italy. Kissinger and Nixon's plan, further executed by Reagan in the 80's, was not to invade or conquer countries, but to use our dollar, as the world's strongest currency, to extract labor from foreign nations. A soft empire, or an economic empire, is how history will record America in 300 years. We currently enjoy the fruits of more human labor, worldwide, AND inside our borders, than any nation has ever enjoyed, Rome included.

If "it's the economy, stupid", then it's also "it's labor, stupid". Because the two go hand in hand. The crux of the Civil War, even, was labor. The economies of the southern states literally ran on imported labor. Slave labor. Outlaw slavery, outlaw that source of labor, and the economy crashes. And that happened. Today, still, the southern states have not recovered. Whether it's slaves, illegal immigrants, or whatever else, it's always labor at the end of the day. And as we trade stonks, and invest in ponzi schemes like bitcoin and crypto, and "invest" and watch numbers go up on paper perpetually forever, FAR BEYOND any level of supporting domestic labor by the way, well, Americans just don't understand this. Our leaders understand this. The globalist elites understand this. The rich understand this. And they know a danger that's far worse than illegal aliens, and they're not going to allow that danger to become a reality.

Now we can go to war on this system we've created. Republicans can hop on Trump's coat tails and attack what their party largely created, but at the end of the day, I'm not sure these republicans today, lead by an opportunistic populist who knows what I just typed, are ready for the letdown getting their way would entail. Our economy and our national security, and ultimately our government, topples without illegal domestic labor. Is it a bad thing? Sure. Is the alternative worse than bad, yes it is.

And I promise you whoever wins whatever election from whatever party, will not stop illegal immigration. Illegal immigrants have been a political campaign issue for 4 decades now, and no matter who we have elected, for Congress, or the White House, even when one party or the other is in complete control, NOTHING HAS CHANGED, because it can't. We are painted into a corner. For the many reasons above. But mostly, "it's the economy, stupid".

I really don't know what you're talking about when you say "southern states still have not recovered" considering southern states have become the industrial powerhouse for the nation over the past 30-40 years.

We go over this every time though, so there's probably no point in discussing further.

Here's the problem when people post things by going to TikTok to do their research.

1. You don't "lose money" when a stock goes down just like you don't make money when a stock goes up.
2. Musk own 13% of Tesla shares not 100%. Don't be lazy, do the math.
3. The labor cost in China has increased significantly. There are other countries with much lower labor rates than China...for example, Pakistan.
4. China is dammmmn near broke. Debt is north of 250% of GDP but private debt is in a much worse position relative to other economic powers.
5. One of the first tactics to minimalize a valid point someone makes is to call them Xenophobic.
6. If 20 million illegal "white" Europeans flooded into the US the problem would be the same as 20 million illegals from south of the border.
7. It doesn't make a dammmmn difference if the border was more or less secure 3 or 5 years ago. Don't get lost in the political argument and play the blame game. Why not focus the energy on just fixing this problem. Yes, it is a problem.
