Hello Clemson Fans, I’m a BYU fan from Utah. It has always been a dream of mine to watch a Clemson game at your stadium. I’m traveling through South Carolina and my dream is about to come true; I’m bringing my whole family to the game this weekend for the game against SMU.
I would love your expert tips on the best food in Clemson, the best tailgating, the best pre-game activities, the best stadium food, the best post-game events, etc. Please let me know anything I can’t miss to make this experience amazing for us.

Go by Lot #10 and say hi to the "Lot 10 Loonies" and you will get all the great food and friendly tailgating you can stand. Under the water oak tree at the end of the lot. The Lot 10 Loonie sign is on the side of the utility trailer. Tell them Jimbo sent ya.

Looking ahead Byu Clemson basketball game this season is gonna be a tough one for us but a great opportunity to strengthen the non conference schedule.
Speaking of that game at MSG later this year, the Tigers have an exhibition Friday night if you want to get an early look at the Tigers. They have two players from the state of Utah.

I’m super excited about BYU basketball this year. We’ve never had such a strong recruiting class. It will be a real test to match up with these schools out here in the ACC!

If you want a nice dinner, Traditions at Lake side lodge is always good. For wings, try TD's and tell them exactly how you want them (flats, crispy, wet, etc.) They do a great job making them like you want and have ton's of flavors. And yes Smokin' Pig is really good. Their sides are as good as the BBQ.
Tailgating is everywhere. You should be welcomed at almost every tailgate. Just don't be shy to talk to people. Pregame is about eating and watching football game, playing cornhole, drinking games, etc. Choose to see Tiger Walk on the west side of campus or the band concert on the east side and follow them into the stadium. You'll want to see the run down the hill but if you're running late, it's always exciting to be outside the stadium when the busses come by.
Don't wait to eat in the stadium. The food is terrible compared to what you'll find at the tailgate. If you must eat in the stadium, go for the pizza or something in the west end zone area. The BBQ is good.
Post game, wait and go onto the field for the gathering at the Paw. It's something most places do not allow anymore.
They'll be many that tailgate after the game. Join them for more football watching and food. Clemson is a small town and can be hard to get in restaurants post game. A cooler with drinks and food for after the game is always a good idea.
It will be HOT so be prepared to stay hydrated and have sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats. 80 degrees will feel like 90 in the stadium. It can be misleading this time of year with the cool nights.
Traffic can be bad so go early and expect to get out late.
