Does anyone else dislike breakfast food?

I pretty much skip it every day except for maybe a yogurt. Early lunch is the way to go. Can't stand when a place won't serve lunch food until a certain time.

Maybe stop buying the jumbo, cage free, organic eggs then. Eggs in general don't average 5 bucks a dozen.

@greene The reg eggs are averaging 4.25 a carton up 238 percent over last year nation wide. Were 1.79 last December 2021. So the average of all kinds would be well over 5 one would think. I don’t give a shizz what kind you are buying they have skyrocketed.

Yeah some of these guys showing they never shop and have no idea of what groceries costs. Guess their wives do the grocery shopping. A dozen of the large Food Lion brand (just regular eggs) have been near 5 bucks in recent weeks here in SC. 18 will set you back around 7.50. The price has come down some in the last week.

For the past ten years or so I’ve been making a smoothie for breakfast.
However, I do enjoy a large traditional breakfast but only on the weekends and more as a brunch.

Started making breakfast burritos long ago. They’re the best: eggs, tomatoes, avocado, and a little bit of shredded cheese, dash of hot sauce, best breakfast there is.

I made breakfast burritos several times when I was working at home the first six weeks of the pandemic. When we were called back in to the office I went back to yogurt and/or a cereal bar.

I can't eat a heavy meal like bacon and eggs at 7:00 a.m. but I love it later in the day. My wife makes a breakfast casserole that has eggs, cheese, and sausage that is one of my favorite comfort foods.

Judging by the long lines of cars in the drive-thru lanes every morning at McDonald’s, Hardee’s, Bojangles, etc, I would say T.I.P. Is in the small minority.

That right there is the truth. Some of those places like Hardee's make all their money and meet sales goal for the day on the breakfast shift. The rest of the day is just gravy.

2 different issues - timing of first meal and specifically "breakfast food" - breakfast food can be eaten any time of day. Agree with you about early meal, but breakfast food tastes good to me any time.

I lift and am enhanced. I bet your blood lipids look like that sludge on an oil rig. I eat boneless skinless chicken and yankee fish like salmon. I like to stay around 15% BF off season and 10-12% during the summer. You can do it on egg yolk and steak but you will regret that stuff when you get older. Better to keep it clean. You do you though

I don't have anything against breakfast food in general

It's the time of day more than the typical breakfast fare.
1) I rarely have time to fix anything good for breakfast so I'm generally eating bagels, instant oatmeal, etc.
2) There are a lot of foods that don't sit well in my stomach shortly after waking up. Eggs and fruit are two of them.
So if we're talking about brunch of breakfast dinner, I'm all in, but if it's the standard work day breakfast i often make in 5 minutes and eat in the truck.. not so much.

I love breakfast food for lunch or dinner and I love lunch or dinner for breakfast. I don’t like people that don’t like food because you are hard to get along with. There are boundaries such as Brussel Sprouts which are from the pit of hell.

heat you up some toast, spread some avocado on it, add salt and pepper, then squeeze some lemon juice on it. or, make an acai bowl with bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and granola.

Only Low-T Guys Dislike Breakfast Food

This usually stems from latent desire for men that was never acted upon. Eat Bacon or Sausage every day for a month and you will be cured.

Shad roe and grits with a couple sunny side up eggs on top, sop it up with a cat head biscuit. Like to throw some creek shrimp in there too sometimes.

I don’t wake up until 4 or 5 pm. Give me a couple of hours to get an appetite for anything. Breakfast is fine then. Normally if on a regular schedule like normal people I don’t eat breakfast. Anyway back to the point. I love all breakfast foods. The end.
