Bakich intrigues me! Maybe a super hire?!?

I think we might have struck Gold! He was productive at Michigan, vouching that our current team has more talent than any team at Mich that he took to finals. This coach has brought in some high talent transfers and has some great commits already.

I don't think his ability to recruit is a problem. Then look at the high caliber players that wanted to follow him to Clemson. Then add in that he understands the value of Jack's ties to the University, to the state snd coaches, and his value as a 100% Clemson man that could never leave even after fired.

All that said, I think this was a "Notorious Slam-Dunk" hire. I am super excited to see what he brings to Clemson. I would bet a lot of money that we have great Baseball ahead.

He has pushed all the right buttons so far. Now let's hope it translates to WINS! I would love to see us back in the CWS again.

Agreed, he’s a recruiting machine. Helped build Vandy as its recruiting coordinator years back and went on to deliver the best class in the history of Michigan baseball as its HC

He and his staff must see a ton of unlocked potential with this roster. Bakich kind of set up some high expectations with comparisons to his Michigan teams. That would not be ideal unless he’s really confident about this team playing well especially with the pitching that has struggled under Lee. Secondly, he knows playing in the ACC is a step above the Big10 competition. Thus, I hope he’s not over confident.
