Beer stein holding where 5 pound stein of beer is being held straight out with one hand to see who can hold it without spilling any for the longest. Before that , they had “Foot Golf” competition. Spot the ball !!!

Hate this time of year. Lots of anticipation for the start of football and hunting seasons but nothing going on right now. I gave up on baseball many years ago when they went on strike. Went to the hunt club yesterday and helped put up a new quad stand and checked my camera by my ladder stand. Had pics of a couple of interesting bucks. It was HOT out there.

I need to trim limbs off planted pines at 2 stands so I can see further since they have grown a lot since last season. Is too hot and too many skeeters to go down there right now. Sat in one stand until 11:PM one night last week hoping a hog would come past but nothing.

I use a lot of bug spray when I go out in the summer. But I still managed to get a couple of chigger bites yesterday that are starting to make me crazy.
