First, the bad news: the ACC is perhaps historically bad in basketball as evident by their, I think, 4-30 record against the SEC in basketball. This unfortunately will not translate into conference wins doing much for our NET ranking and so forth.
Now the good news: the ACC is perhaps historically bad in basketball. Given this, it should not be difficult or at all unreasonable to expect this team to battle with the Duke for the conference championship. So perhaps we can replicate what the football team did with besting the top team in the conference when we met head to head and when it counted.

Exactly. ACC officials will let us go 14-6 at best. Every road game the call will go against us. Home games against Duke and UNC will also go against us.

1 loss really isn't going to define us... does it suck right now yes... does it suck more we lost to the coots? YES.
Season is just getting started. We have everything to play for now and will compete for the ACC title in March... I am still excited to watch what this group can accomplish

sort of feels like backing into success. I’m all for it, don’t get me wrong, but I hope the talking heads don’t start on us for strength of schedule. Frustrating.

of brilliance so I know they can put it together. They've also shown the opposite where they look lost and confused with frequent & long scoring droughts. truly a mixed bag thus far and it's on Brad to get them focused.

If you remember, they were the same way last year. We were all dog cussing them for brain dead losses and goofy play and then suddenly they hit the streak at the end of the season. Hopefully, history repeats!Because they made a lotsa goofy plays the last 2 games.

We're going to lose our share of games in the ACC.
Like Louisville will suck balls but somehow they will have career nights against us and beat us.
and then when it's time for selection all our ACC losses are bad losses because the league sucks this year.
It's a lose/lose situation for us.
