Just experienced my first Broadway

Smelled like new leather boots and urine.
Ate at Kid Rock's new place. Was pretty good. Had to yell at the bartender to order. Singer dude looked like Toby Keith one week from death.
Then on advice on aerozeptallica went to Tootie's as a history major that was awesome.
Was interesting once. Not again.

That's what drew you down to Broadway with that 50-50 chance of getting mugged. FB thinks it smells like urine NOW? Back then, you knew where the urine smell was coming from because a urine-soaked homeless guy was sleeping in every doorway after dark. Gotta say...I liked THAT Broadway better. The music down there definitely was better. And Printers Alley back then was even a level above Broadway for music. Plus, you the prostitutes stood out as prostitutes and didn't look like 70% of the women walking Broadway like today.

I used to have to go to Nashville all the time for work.
I've been to Broadway once. Kinda like the Grand Canyon or that big dent in Winslow, Arizona..I don't need to return to see any of them again.

waiting in line. The big stars had just started building their self-named restaurants/bars, and the music hadn't turned complete schlock-pop for the masses quite yet but you could tell it was quickly headed that way. It's been Myrtle Beached for a solid decade now. There's still fantastic music in Nashville if you're willing to look past Broadway, but Austin is by far the superior music experience. And even that is starting to show signs of erosion.
