B1G or SEC, who should FSU and Clemson fans be rooting for.

Here is a theory I heard last week. Not sure I prescribe to it. Just throwing it out there for discussion. (I normally root against both of them when playing OOC games. When SEC vs. B1G I normally root for SEC unless the school is UF, Bama or USC.)
Anyway, on to the theory.
Root for B1G to stink. Root for Bama to beat Wisconsin 50-0 this weekend. Cheer wildly for TX destroying Michigan. Root for the eventual conference champ in the B1G to have 4 losses.
Why?
Because if the SEC appears to be head and shoulders superior to the B1G it will force the B1G (and Fox) to say, "Hey, we gotta get some good teams in here. We can't let FSU, even with their down year this year, and Clemson go to the SEC. We gotta keep them out of the SEC, whatever it takes."
So, root for B1G to stink. No matter where FSU and Clemson eventually end up, it will be far better than the ACC. And, its a lot easier to leave the ACC if their are two suitors battling for your affections.

B1G has won one Natty in 10+ years, and lets be honest the prison colony to the south of us probably would have beat khaki pants. Outside of little ole Clemson the SEC has dominated the national championship game and playoffs. So until proven otherwise I rank conferences like this 1A. SEC, 1b Clemson, 2 who cares bc 1a + 1b = dominance last decade.

relevant recently. One year built by mercenaries is all they have done in the past decade. They are part of the reason the ACC is where it is now, along with Miami, VT, etc. NO, Clemson has not always been good either, but they sure as #### have carried this conference for over a decade.

I agree that a fight for Clemson/FSU would be beneficial for either or both schools but the only factor B1G has going is their pay to the programs.
If both FSU and Clemson join the SEC ESPiN will have to come off some big bucks which will probably equal or exceed the B1G pay.
ND, Ohio State, USCw, Michigan, Texas and PSU are my leased liked (vehemently hated) programs in that order. So I want nothing to do with the B1G and ND being part of the ACC is torture.
