With Carter and Shipley setting the example with this team (others have done the same in the past), it motivates others to be generous of their time as well. This is what defines the "Clemson culture" that we continue to hear recruits talk about. In the age of NIL and transfer portal, this will continue to set us apart.

Trenton Simpson. This year everyone will see that.
I expect him to have the impact in the NFL we expected of Isaiah Simmons. Carter is sharper, will pick things up quicker and be a Derwin James type of player, except he'll end up ~235 lbs and probably play LB most of the time.
Not sure how Goodwin will play him on defense this year, but (with Simpson gone) if he gets more edge rush opportunities and sacks, I could see him being drafted in the top 10.

with him last week and told my wife afterward that he is arguably the most composed, engaging, and fluent Clemson football player I have ever seen in my 52 years of following the Tigers. A very impressive young man.

So refreshing to hear an articulate athlete speak. Barrett is both that and intelligent, such a great representative of Clemson and what we stand for.
As an added, I would hope some of our athletes will spend some time in our new NIL center getting some practice in public speaking, improving this skill will open any doors for them.
