Attending the Clemson Vs. GT Game.

First-time trip to see the Tigers take on GT in Atlanta! A buddy and I are heading down I-20 from the Augusta area, and we’re planning to park at a MARTA station and ride into the city before walking over to the game.

Looking for some advice from fellow Tiger fans:
• Best MARTA station to park and catch the train
• Routes that have worked well for y’all in the past
• Favorite spots to grab food and a cold one after the game

Appreciate any tips. Go Tigers!

on 285N just off 20. It's about 35 minutes and 8 stops to the dome. Should be safe that early in the day. After the game, unless you eat somewhere around the dome, you want to walk to the next station to board for the trip back to avoid the mass of humanity trying to go back east.

You can catch the Blue Line MARTA train at Indian Creek Station off I285 N. Take the Blue Line to the Five Points Station. Change trains there to the Red or the Orange Line North. Get off at the North Avenue stop. That will put you out right by the Varsity and only about a 5 minute walk to the stadium. I live in Aiken, and that is the way my husband & I usually went to Ga. Tech games.
