There are 4,000 recognized religions. Christians don't believe in 3,999 of them. Atheists don't believe in 4,000 of them. So close. Anyway, go Tigers. That would be cool if this site had a religion bored.

They really aren't that different and it annoys me when I hear a christian say "we are not perfect" but then on the other hand say things like "we know them by their fruits".

I don't think there is a such thing as perfection because I don't think there is a such thing as "sin", and I don't think the bible is even clear on what "sin" actually is.
There are a lot of contradictions within christianity IMO, and this is one of the major ones...

Very true. I am not sure which side is more passionate. I would definitely lean towards the religious. There are some angry atheists/agnostics, but I think most are just apathetic. They might get caught up in a debate, but dont think much about there not being a God later.

deliver clean water or clean the water in local sources for the residents in 3rd world countries. I don't think atheist preach their gospel though.

This is another thing that annoys me.
When defending their faith, a christian will appeal to science and history, until it runs out.
Then it's all about faith.
No, an atheist or agnostic does not have faith in anything, they just take the world as they see it.

there is no God.
So if you simply do not believe in God, that's one thing. If you believe there is no God that's by faith for there is no science behind your belief. Lack of evidence will result in a not guilty verdict but it does not exonerate the accused.

Couple of questions for you...
1. What proof, besides anecdotal evidence, do you have that your worldview is correct?
2. If you strip away all your presumptions and biases and started from scratch with just the evidence you see, do you think you would still hold the same worldview?
