At some point, losing has to matter ...

When Texas A&M beats Texas, every SEC team will have at least 2 losses.
Oregon doesn't have a problem winning all their games. And they are in what is arguably the best conference this year (based on current rankings).
The SEC appears mediocre this season.

I can’t figure out how Penn State is ranked so high. Who have they beat?

Indiana's schedule is honestly crazy

In the non-conference they played FIU (3-7), W. Illinois (3-8), and Charlotte (3-7).
In conference-play, they had:
UCLA: 4-6 (3-5) - best non-conference win: Hawaii Maryland: 4-6 (1-6) - best non-conference win: Virginia Northwestern: 4-6 (2-5) - best non-conference win: Miami (Ohio) Nebraska: 5-5 (2-5) - best non-conference win: Colorado Washington: 6-5 (4-4) - best non-conference win: Eastern Michigan Michigan State: 4-6 (2-5) - best non-conference win: Florida Atlantic Michigan: 5-5 (3-4) - best non-conference win: Arkansas State Ohio State: 9-1 (6-1) - best non-conference win: Marshall Purdue: 1-9 (0-7) - best non-conference win: Indiana State
Also only 4 games on the schedule were road games: UCLA, Northwestern, Michigan State, and Ohio State.
I get that going 10-0 is impressive, but it's looking likely that the only team on Indiana's schedule who will finish with a winning record will be Ohio State. (Michigan would have to defeat Ohio State, Washington would have to defeat Oregon, and Nebraska would have to defeat both Wisconsin and Iowa to finish with 7 wins.)
If Ohio State throttles Indiana, I think there's a strong argument for leaving Indiana out of the Playoff, as I honestly think there are more than 12 teams that would go 11-1 with that schedule.

I tend to agree. You can call it parody but the reality is their top tier teams are not dominant as year's past.

Losing to Georgia, big picture, didn’t matter … getting blown out to Loserville at home, and being so unprepared, did. That’s why we’re wishing and hoping for help to even play in the ACC Championship game.

Losing doesn’t matter in the SUC.
