I may be wrong but I don't think he has been on to read the good news an about Cain and RR.
Or maybe he has read the good news but it doesn't fit his agenda or his glass half empty persona?

really upset when I think we are on the brink of bad news. I try to be realistic about what the worst case scenario could be and make all aware of what it is looking like. Nobody loves Clemson more than I do. You can try and ask me a question that you think only a former Clemson student would know if you want.
We can't all be so bright as celebrate, as our signature, a double-murderer who, 46 years later, continues to have the nerve to show up for parole hearings and cry like a baby for her freedom. All the while putting the victims' families through the agony of reliving the entire episode. While at the same time, costing the California taxpayers millions and millions of dollars over the decades. Two people died at her hands, in their own living room, with a carving fork inside them and you use her as your signature.

How about you just type the following and that'll work for me.
"I hate the University of South Carolina with all my heart. Steve Spurrier is an arrogant washed up piece of #### with moobs. And I hope Clemson beats them by 70 next fall."

South Carolina by 70 points. I am probably the biggest anti-South Carolina Gamecock person that was ever born and raised in the state of South Carolina. But go ahead and test me if you can think of a questions about the everyday life of a Clemson student that only a former student would know. Keep in mind I attended from 81 to 85 and there have been some changes for the better regarding student comfort since then. Still, my days at Clemson were some of the best of my life and I wouldn't trade those four year for anything. It was a dream of mine to go to Clemson from the time I was about eight years old.

downturns in a sporting event. I have been through some very real serious life events this year, like having my mom survive a 28 day stay in ICU and 43-day stay in the hospital. That is real and makes sports of any kind seem less than trivial. I understand what really counts in life and you would think, after the blessed miracle I received when my mother survived, I wouldn't let anything sports bother me, but it still does. I'm working on not having a panic reaction to something as unimportant as a sporting event.

be willing to say to another face-to-face. Thus, I tend toward caution.
I've also been willing to sign several posts, knowing that further evidence of my allegiance is in my profile.
You're certainly not required to do so, as I did; however, my connections to Clemson are an open book, clearly verifiable online via "The Taps"...1966, 67, 68 and 69 editions.
You see, my Friend, I'm Harry Tinsley, BA History, Class of 1969. Easy enough, and I'm d@mn proud for my fellow TigerNetters to know it!

Not that I doubt you were a student but most freshmen had to take chemistry 101 and 102 from a well known department head in 1979 to 1983, when I was there. What was his name and what was his pet peeve. If you know this answer then you were a student. Bonus question would be what type of liquor did he like to drink? If you know that you were too close to the teacher.

Biology 101. The class was in an auditorium classroom that was on the walk-in level of Hardin Hall. The North Green was not there at the time, it was just a grassy hill, but this classroom would have backed up to the North Green. The lab for the class was in the building across the parking lot from the back of Sikes Hall. Specifically, the lab classroom was on the third floor of the building. When I say the back of Sikes, I mean the parking lot level where we, students in the 80's, used to enter into the student bank.
Sorry, but I didn't have to take Chemistry at all while at Clemson. I went the Biology route. Now, I had a roommate my first two years who was majoring in pre-pharmacy and I feel like I lived through his nightmare known as organic chemistry with him. After the second year, he did get accepted to MUSC which did not accept many people.

Very good description of the buildings and surroundings. Chemistry was taught by Knox Landers in an auditorium style class of about 200 students. At 8:00 the doors were locked and if you were late you were out with an F. After the first example no one was ever late or missed. He also taught Organic. He enjoyed fine scotch and was a hell of a teacher. I believe you were there.
