When I read on various sports boards, I read comments from people like VT fans, FSU fans and Auburn fans that like taking shots at us over the 70-33 Beating we took and they forget that we beat them in that same year.
I simply don't feel that hammering the Coots when we don't own them works right now. I am happy they got knocked out of the CWS, but they are the ones that took us out...for the last 2 years in fact....so we look frankly like a "Coot" when we act like that.
The best thing to do is grin and bear it. Take our medicine and endure this situation until we take it back. Only then do I think it makes sense.
I think we all know this can't last. The SEC East will have UGA, Florida and Tennessee back eventually and the Coots will be back to a mid-level SEC at best sooner than we think.

for either team. We are only spectators that choose to pull for different teams. Some people take it too seriously. I for one am not going to let the performance of 20 year olds dictate my attitude.

The last few years they have experienced the zenith of athletic achievement EVER in the crappy existence of their university. However, they have a LOOOOONNNGGGG way to go before they even THINK about owning anything, other than a rat infested double-wide! I will forgive you for your temporary lack of reasoning, it can happen to the best of us. But you need to get your mind right!

Carolina is a good football program, currently. What I mean is that they're good, not great, not even very good. The rest of the East is very mediocre to bad, and that's why you see SC going 11-2 last year. It wasn't them grabbing that "greatness" mantle. It was the rest of the SEC East embracing "suckness". It was the same story as 2010, except that they didn't even win their division last year. A decent UGA team did that instead of SC.
So, what many people consider SC's greatest team of all-time didn't win an MNC, or the the SEC...or even the SEC East. And right now, the SEC East is a very bad division.

The SEC East is 5-5 against the ACC in 2010/2011 timeframe, which coincides with the collapse of UT/UF/UGA, and the surge of South Carolina.
So, the SEC East is as bad as the ACC, based on head-to-head. That's rough territory to be in, since we know the ACC has problems.

THAT is why we come to a Clemson board to spout off. If the coots are winning, I agree, don't go out screaming how much better we are, but on a freaking Clemson board we should be able to say anything we want about our rival and not have to explain it.
If coots don't want to hear it...not certain who invited them here in the first play

Just don't look like a COOT when you are doing it. Coots historically have taken shots at us when we are beating them, making them look foolish.
Perhaps I am just going to have to be content being the odd man out on this one because It is hard to blast a Carolina Fan about recent Football and Baseball when they have a current advantage over us. Frankly, falling back to "overall Record" is a weak excuse when you have to use it because you are winning currently.
