These boxes should be used to call ball and strikes. Human inconsistency and/or shenanigans have got to be removed or else we see outcomes like this. The game was basically stolen from us by the umpires

F*** me that is infuriating. This is when the broadcast cameras were broken so we couldn't see these ABs well on TV.

I don’t see any pitches outside the zone but some clearly were off the plate even when the broadcast was changed to the weird angle.

It was hard to see with the television coverage half out....couldn't tell where the pitches were watching it live.

Several guys said they hated the idea. When I asked why, they said "because it takes the human element out of it". I was like "right, that's the whole point!".
