Mizzou just didn't want to be there" will spew from Finebaum or some other SEC apologists lips this morning, as soon as they start talking about the game.

No reason why Mizzou WOULDN'T want to be there. It ain't like they have a huge history of much greater football success. They were a mid to lower tier team in the Big 12, and are certainly no better than a mid tier team on their best days in the SEC.

Just like another SEC cellar dweller, the last conference title that Missouri won was in 1969, in the Big 8.

They did win the SEC Least Division their first two years in the league, due to the ineptitude of the rest of the East. Butt, they got owned by the West Champion both times in the SEC Championship game.
