if not, let my wife and I have your tickets. We are huge Clemson fans and just moved back to upstate and didn't have a chance to get tickets. We will be happy to take your tickets if you don't want to brave the weather. Thanks and GO TIGERS!!!

No I believe he is correct. You can join my wife and me, as my wife and I have are going. is me an object or a predicate vs the subject of the verb?
