The scores are kinda deceiving from last season. We only gave up 17 points in regulation on defense to FSU. They scored 7 on a defensive touchdown from a fumble. Nc state only scored 17 points on offense. They scored 7 more on a pick 6. Miami only scored 17 points in regulation. So we loss 3 games where the defense only gave up 17 points in 4 quarters. They got no help from the offense.

Our starters come out in the 3rd quarter, both D and O, and never enter the game again.
This is new MO for Dabo and a luxury we've never enjoyed. With the starting O out we get less time of possession and more playing time for our defense. That's a recipe for giving up 40 points/game.
IDK why common sense with a mix of logic eludes so many Tnet members.

Since you seem to be new at football let me help. Since CBV left we have been plagued with a bad offense. A bunch of 3 and outs, short fields after turnovers and generally competitive games. During CBVs tenure, we had great offenses meaning the other team was typically behind so they became one dimensional which is much easier to defend. Our recruiting was better pre NIL so he had more and better talent to utilize. YW

I count 3, 4 and 3. Am I missing the point or have I had too many beers to count. Please don't count NCSt....the game was over at halftime (mid-first quarter) . That wasn't the case in some of the previous 25+ games on defense.
