I believe he is going to be a bigger asset than many may believe. 6'8, athletic with the ability to jump olus add in his ability to rebound will be like snatching footballs at high points. He is obviously physical under the basket even banging on dudes bigger than him so I am sure he wont mind contact.
He already played TE in HS so he just needs to learn blocking schemes and routes. Obviously he can run bball plays so I doubt routes will be a problem.
Bottomline, if he makes the most of this season, it could be his best avenue to be a professional ball player.

He is listed at 6’8 -BUT- he’s 6’6/6’6.5.

I doubt he is 2" shorter than listed height but I could see 6'7, either way that will be typically 5" taller than the taller defenders. I believe Dabo chased him for years for a reason.

Oh there will be a goal line play for him.... 5 yard button hook. Stick out the rear end and box out the defender with a high lofting pass. Just like a high low pass under the hoop.

He’s gotta be dying in that long sleeve tee.

Better than slathering yourself with sunscreen. Especially with his fair skin

I learned years ago that lightweight long sleeves are cooler on me than the sun beating down. In the summer I wear Columbia long sleeve tees and Columbia long, lightwieght pants (not shorts) when I'm out in the sun, playing golf or anything else outdoors. Protects me from skin cancer, for sure. But, also it is cooler than shorts and a golf shirt.

Any hope for contributing this season would be at TE, but any long-term success may require beefing up to play OT.

I hope he blossoms into a Field Goal Blocker extraordinaire. Just put him in the middle , jump and get that wingspan way above your head. You could win a game for us son. Go get it

Dabo really owes Brad a debt of gratitude for making this happen.

Are coaches developing Patt-Henry, Bentancur & Brooking to play?
Jun 4, 2025, 12:23 AM

Or are coaches shooting for some type of gimmick season with no further eligibility to include a Schieff TD catch vs. Troy and Furman while younger more talented Tiger starter and developing freshmen lose a season of development prior to Schieff moving to Europe to play hoops?
