Are Auburn fans pretty much the coots

Sep 6, 2017, 7:40 AM

of the state of Alabama? Asking for a friend. I'll hang up and listen

No because Auburn actually has a history and tradition.***

There's something in these hills.

No.

Auburn has championships and a winning history. The only thing they have in common with the Coots is that their rival owns them.

The Coots are more like Vanderbilt, but with less Championships.

That rivalry is much closer

Before Saban, Bama had a six game lead, 38-32-1

Bama has played Tennessee more than Auburn

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Football..yes. academics..not even close.

Bama is the scar of alabama. Any1 and every1 gets in.

The coots are pretty much the coots.

Nobody else comes close.

Not really.. I think Auburn has been pretty successful considering they have to share the state with a team that has been so dominant. You have to remember, the state of Alabama is not rich in talent. We have to get most of our recruits from Georgia because Alabama pretty much picks and chooses who they want from the State.

My wife is an Auburn grad...

...and I've been there many times, so I speak from experience. Auburn is a lot like Clemson, but without a lake. The schools are very similar...Clemson's Tillman Hall was even designed by the same guy architect that designed Auburn’s Samford Hall. Also, the fan base is more educated, friendly and gracious.

On the other hand, the fan base for Alabama and USuCk are almost identical. Of course, Alabama fans have something to brag about, but they both largely consist of rednecks. (I don't mean country...my family is country and there is a difference between country and redneck.) Bama and coot fans generally have no class.....in fact, most didn't attend class past the 8th grade.

I hate to disagree with you about the eighth grade comment. I know several Bama fans that went all the way through grade nine four times.

You are absolutely right. Alabama football players know how to put their cleats on. At usuck trainers have to label each cleat left and right along with T G I F which stands for toe goes in first.

A couple of differences:

Sep 6, 2017, 10:38 AM

1. Auburn is the SECOND best team in their state, not the 3rd.
2. Auburn has won a natty.
3. Auburn only hired that embarrassing failure Muscoot to coach defense, not be a HC.

Hope those help.

Just think if Auburn were in SC ...

We'd be "Daddy"

Vs Clemson 34-14

Vs South Carolina 10-1
