Thoughts as to the strategy behind this?

So they only lose 3 yards per sack rather than 7?***

Saving four yards adds up when you're getting sacked that many times lol

Quite possibly the dumbest move muschamp made that game.

Why you would think making your QB run an additional 26.5 yards (conservative average) per play is beneficial is totally mind bottling.

He could take snaps from the press box and it won't matter..

unless and until they develop a quality offensive line and this years may be as bad if not worse than the 2016 edition.

Don't teams with less talent (ex: GT) tend to use the triple-option offense (or a variation of it) to compensate for their lack of talent? My guess is that USUC is going to run a lot of that. Muscoot can become the new Paul Johnson.

Simple...

it is a way of slowing the game down, like a basketball team running a slow down and holding the ball. It is an attempt to give the other offense fewer snaps.

This could be an attempt to copy Christian Wilkins...just putting Bentley in a more favorable position to execute the move? To be honest, I'm just spit balling here...??

and sent UF and its offense into an abyss it has yet to recover from. He has to run some spread to attract players...but in his ideal world, would love to have a pro style offense where punting is perfectly OK most of the time. Hope he incorporates it more........

It hurts less when you sacked 3 yards back instead of 7.
