They are the best 2 conferences, so not that shocking. I think the ACC will be imoroved this year though. We will see how it all shakes out in the end. I think only 3 ACC teams finished in the top 25 last year. None on the top 10.

Nice to see the Vols remaining in cream puff mode. A lot of mediocrity exist inside the SEC. Same 2 or 3 dominate Tenn and the rest 🥱 every year

I don't why we would feel slighted. We got ranked #4. Some people suffer from Peter Pan envy, I guess. We would be willy blind to not know the ACC is weak. we can blame rankings, but over the years they have proven to be more accurate than not. I read complaints about the ACC on here regularly so perhaps we should not be so pissed that the SEC is successful..
The reality is if there is an AP News conspiracy it is based on program popularity in terms of viewers. SEC teams commanded a full 61% of all primetime college football viewers last year. The Big10 was second and even the Big12 was ahead of the ACC. Lazy AP reporters probably watch most games and programs on TV and go with what they see most often....is it any wonder? Just spit balling causes..

We can be a very good football team this year, perhaps one of the best in the nation. But it’s silly to hear players who have never finished in the AP or Coaches’ Poll top 10 talking about winning a national championship.
Sure, the goal is to win every game, but let’s beat a top 5 team or even an SEC team before we start talking big.

Impossible? No.
But if we are being honest, is it likely? No.
I’d prefer that our guys focus on LSU, taking things one game at a time, and proving that we are better now than we were in our recent performances against the better teams on our schedule.

It is unlikely for every team. That said, we have the 6th best Vegas odds and in a somewhat weak conference. Its not far fetched at all that we play for the national title if healthy. The players should be saying that is the goal.

Yeah when are we going to get some quality teams like Wake and UVA ranked in the top 10 where they deserve to be? What a conspiracy, especially for a preseason poll that determines absolutely nothing even at the end of the season. H*ll we could make our own TNET ranking poll and it would matter about as much as the AP

both would be top 25 if they were big or sec teams. its a fact the acc gets looked down on because they arent one of the big 2. i think the acc could be sneaky good this year. but in the same term have a few teams get left out of the playoffs simply because the big and sec each have to get 4 plus in no matter what

I think the spineless NCAA should ban polls until the so called college playoff committee puts out their poll. All polls should come out on the same day.
Focus on the craziness in the NFL, WNBA and Atlanta Braves smoke crack before we trade a player or go through the draft 🤪🤥😜
I believe easy sports Betting has some influence on today’s polls. If I was a voter for a sports poll, I may hire a bodyguard, wear a bulletproof vest, or go into the sports betting witness protection program 😂 💰💸💵💴💶💷💰.
On college campuses around the country there are gambling addictions among students. There was a program last night about kids betting addiction which has increased drug use. Now college Stadiums are selling alcohol. Great mix to go along with NIL, Revenue Sharing, TP and who he$$ knows what is next.

poll should just be put out. having the committee rankings show on espn who has a massive vested interest in the sec is a conflict. you will never make me believe they didnt play a role in fsu getting left out and bama in the year fsu went undefeated

Why ban a poll that already doesn’t matter? If people stopping whining about it on message boards or social media they probably wouldn’t even put it out anymore. The only reason they broadcast it is because it generates traffic on their website, meaning the only reason it exists is because we engage with it…

With the BCS? Absolutely.
With the 4 team CFP? Happened 2-3 times, but it’s tough to argue that the teams who were left out had a shot at actually winning it all
With the 12 team format? If you get left out you did something in your control to deserve it
Like I said, it doesn’t matter anymore

By having so many sec and big ten schools in the polls it will help ESPN, CBS, ABC etc.., pay for those massive TV conference contracts and help pay overrated, overpaid announcers aka ####(yst). It helps sale papers and magazines to 🐅🐅🐅

their strength of schedules are going to be amazing this year. while the acc and big 12 have weak ones because they dont beat up on each other like the other two conferences do. every loss is a good loss when you get like 6 teams in the preseason top 25 to start the year
