Play versus competition speaks for itself. The teams we beat were also beat by those considered below us.

With the conference having so many bad teams, it really hurts our SOS but you have to play the conference games. I also think it doesn't toughen us when we are challenged by better teams. It will really suck for lower division teams that rely on the money games to run their athletic departments. It's not D-5 schools to pay $$$ when those games come back to bite you in the ars. Clemson needs to get rid of the App States, Citadels, Furmans, Troys, Woffords, etc. Why are we playing Ga Southers and Chas Southerns? All those are games, if you lose, are killers and are usually not 100% sold out. I believe that Playing The Sisters Of the Poor teams may give the team, as well as Clemson fans, a false sense of security. Thoughts please?

I believe the ACC offers a good chance of playoff spot, but we can’t lose. Depending on how strong the league is, we might not be able to barely win. FSU being down really hurts things.

Just makes you wonder where they would have ranked us if we beat Louisville. Probably would have been top 10. Doesn't matter at this point. We just have to hope for pure chaos at this point.

I get we had a bad loss and were moved down for it. But if I’m not mistaken AM took their 2nd loss to coots and it was a 44-20 lose not a 3 point lose. They drop 5 we drop 12. Sec Bias right there plain view. Go Tigers!!!

I gave up o worrying about poles and rankings years ago for several reasons...ESPN's overriding influence, SEC in bed with ESPN and, in my opinion, ESPN, and for that matter, all the media hosts and talking heads who have a distain for Clemson (read DABO's) resistance to fall in line with their dogma of the NIL and the transfer port-o-let...
