and Houston game right now and Louisville looks terrible on defense and even worse on offense especially considering how terrible Houston's defense is playing. I realize they will be hyped for our game but if we just play our game, we should win with points to spare....I hope!

understand that this post is intending to make fun of the old "Clemsoning" term by juxtaposing its popular meaning by presenting as a scenario in which "Clemsoning" means taking care of business by not losing to a ranked team in over 4 seasons...
Let's brush up on our literary devices, folks. Sometimes words read differently than how they first appear.

Pull a Clemson in Recruiting

I called in to talk to JC Sherbert last year about our recruiting. I can't recall who was about to commit to the Tigers, but he said his idea about pulling a Clemson was going into a talent rich state and pulling out the top players. Here's what we did that recruiting season out of state:
Fla. #3 WR, #4 WR, #4 OT, #2 TE, #11 QB
Ga. #1 OT, #5 DE, #6 OT, #7 WR
NC #1 CB, #1 S #3 DT, #1 OLB
Va. #2 DE, #2 OLB
Now that's pulling a Clemson!
BTW, the in state recruiting wasn't too shabby either.
