Anyone seen the Lego movie?

Feb 27, 2014, 1:14 PM

Opinions?

Please forgive me, @IneligibleUser

IF the search function worked

Feb 27, 2014, 1:19 PM

I'd recommend looking at it, cus there was some talk on here about it. It was positive talk too.

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Wife and boy went, said heap good. Tonto stay home. Sad.***

Your wife calls the shots?

So youd still label it as a kiddy movie?

Feb 27, 2014, 1:28 PM

Get its lego's, but trailer makes some humor seem targeted toward adults.

What, in your limited life experience, makes you think

a husband ever gets to call the shots? At best, they get to think they made their on choice.

Took the 6 year old and tkshe on saturday.

Feb 27, 2014, 1:24 PM

It was pretty good I guess. The 6 year old loved it, tkshe was noncommittal, but i think she liked it too.

near the fun it was without drugs and alcohol. Some of these cats who go through it completely sober really miss out. Have you ever seen one of your buddies crawling around in the Cedarwood parking lot claiming to be a lizard? I have, and I can thank drugs for that memory.

Just gives us something to look forward to before Friday.

Feb 27, 2014, 2:14 PM

should be halfway planned out, just avoid making it a set night of the week and don't label it. All the Dguras in here will probably agree that these actions can lead to being in a rut. Do you really want to go down that path? All it can do is jack up young Reds libido. I have found that those 24-27ish range can get all out of whack quick. One moment they are still good to go like a college girl then the next acting like we've been married 10 years.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Took our 3- and 6-year old a couple weeks ago

Feb 27, 2014, 1:46 PM

Aside from the 3-year-old having to go pee right toward the end during the "teaching moment" of the movie, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Enough goofy humor and cartoony action to keep the kids involved, enough higher-level "adult" humor to keep parents entertained. A lot of movie studios have learned from the Pixar model - keep Mom and Dad entertained, too, and they'll bring the kids back to your next movie.

EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!
