Wondering if brownell is thinking Hemenway and chase hunter will be back.
There is a chance that we only lose hunter Tyson and brevin Galloway. We have the guy from IL, and Chauncey Gibson who is redshirting

Despite the type of season Chase was having before he went down, I couldn't imagine him declaring for the NBA draft at the end of this season. I hope he comes back.

That should tell you something about what is expected for next year.
Right now, we have the following players eligible for next year:
Graduates:
Chase Hunter
Alex Hemenway
Seniors:
PJ Hall
Juniors:
Ben Middlebrooks
Ian Schieffelin
Sophomores:
Josh Beadle
Chauncey Wiggins
RJ Godfrey
Dillon Hunter
Freshmen:
Chauncey Gibson
Asa Thomas
At this point, I think we will see everyone back next year except for Tyson and Galloway. This could obviously change, but that’s the main reason why we only have one signee right now. We are still recruiting others and will take a difference maker, but are more likely to go to the portal if we have an unexpected departure.

Agree. He could still get pushed around in the very physical NBA. He needs to bulk up some more by age maturity. Otherwise he is ready to compete.

Really good season going on now, and that looks like a great team for next year. (even though Tyson is a big loss)

They are similar, but I wouldn’t call it redundant.

Players with length who can shoot are not super common, so I’d happily take as many guys like that as we can.

If we return everybody except for Tyson and Galloway, we should be a preseason top 20 team. Really depends on how this season finishes out.
The culture seems VERY good right now. Wiggins, Godfrey, Dillon, and beadle all looks like they are having fun out there. Let's hope we don't have any transfers. If not, this could be one hell of a stretch for us!

We will need a transfer portal addition to replace Galloway, and it will probably need to be a guard.
Unless he’s some sort of locker room liability, I would look at RJ Felton at ECU. We recruited him but didn’t end up offering him. However, he’s been very good as a scorer there. He’s a bit of a volume shooter and inefficient, but the raw tools are there and Brownell could get more out of him, IMO
