yet got dropped a spot again in the polls. I think he's entitled to be a little grouchy.

Yep - and if BT had converted the field goal vs UNC there would not have been any talk about squeaking by due to a missed two point conversion...,.

Yes, and if anyone and everyone in the snowflake media hasn't noticed yet, Dabo is a football coach. A coach gets excited and lets his team know what's up and what's expected of them. He wants to win, he wants his players to be successful personally and [in their chosen field of profession....] In spite of his love and concern, or in fact because of his love and concern, if a little taste of he!! is what you need to get your mind right - he'll give it to you, with the only intention of making you a better player and a better man. BT apparently - and obviously - wasn't quite on pace to give 110%, whether it was actually necessary for the win, or not. Dabo is and has become the greatest coach in CFB, and most every school lately is attempting to imitate the culture he promotes. However, what they fail to realize, i.e.: "understand", is the reality of Christian faith. It can't be copied, it must be lived.
Go rag me up on this post - Dabo eats it every day - but truth is a fact.
Go Tigers!!!

Totally agree! That game never even should have been somewhat close, but we really escaped a close one. We are better than that, and we need to act like it at all times.

And, we certainly didn't deserve to be ranked less than #1 or #2, at the least. Talk about a good, old fashioned #### whipping? We witnessed it on Saturday PM. FSU was beaten down in every phase of the game. FSU! FSU! What a shell of the program they once were! I state here, publicly, I couldn't (and still can't) stand Bobby Bowden, and I have even less respect for Jimbo Fisher, but it's a shame how far fro relevance FSU has fallen. I like their present coach, but he better get that train back on the tracks, or he will be the recipient of a very good buy-out, very soon.

Dabo is on a mission and it all went into overdrive after the UNC game. I sense the team may have hit a point of complacency and entitlement, so he is rallying the troops to remind them that just like last year’s team; they have to earn it.

Punting?

Statistically we are pretty bad the last two years. We should be able to recruit a top 25 kicker since we can recruit a top 5 player at every other position

Spiers went into Saturday averaging 43 yards with good hang time and with very few yards on returns. I think he's shown quite a bit of improvement.

Spiers had some 60 some yard punt (with roll) that upped his average. Without that he was averaging 37 yards that game.

Why does he not need to see more urgency by Spiers. Talk about inconsistency.

I don't see this as inconsistency at all. Spiers is giving what he has to give. You may want a different punter that can kick further, higher, with more control, but Spiers is the punter we have. It appears that in Dabo's eyes Spiers is performing as expected.
Potter is another story. By all accounts his upside is huge. He isn't performing as expected. It appears to me that Potter doesn't have his head in the game and is not ready to do his job. Dabo's trying to get him on the right path to reach his potential. Tough love and I applaud him for it.

I’m saying that Spiers is inconsistent at his job. He has shanked punts and doesn’t get pulled. We have Sawicki and Swanson at punter as well, but they never get a try. We are national title contender and every team but Charlotte and FSU has had a better punter than us.

We don't punt enough! If we punted 10 times per game, maybe the punter would get better.
