Jameis was making a poorly thought out joke. Its the sort of thing that mildly immature folks might do privately as a sort of "making fun of myself" thing, but to post the picture takes it beyond that. He still doesn't get the idea the idea of at least putting on an air of maturing.

Though I did read an interesting opinion that it was a designed stunt in order to keep the crab-leg issue out front of the rape allegations in the news. Not sure I buy that, but I can see it being a possibility.
