Anybody remember when we lost to the Ragin Cajuns in the CWS

in 2000? I remember. I broke a chair out of anger when they scored the walkoff run at my grandparents house (who lived in Louisiana)

Yeah, I remember. And I think I did something similar when it happened. Got way too many bad memories of Clemson and the CWS. Wasn't it '95 or '96 when a Clemson outfielder threw the ball in the stands with only TWO outs in the inning? Aye yaye yaye...

Too many bad ones? We have been there 12 times. Yeah, we lost some games but we sure have won a lot.

Yep. Casey Stone.
My mom passed away not too long ago and I was throwing away a bunch of stuff from my childhood. For some reason I found a newspaper from 2000 that had that article about Casey.

Casey Stone was from Abbeville, SC. I was 9 years old at the time of all of this and I remember how cool it was that he was from somewhere so close to me, I'm from Anderson. Khalil, Jeff Baker, Michael Johnson were my favorite players but I remember Casey Stone just because of where he was from

Well I was 28 , and I remember it because that team was one of Jack Leggett's best ...in my opinion . I hated seeing that play , because plays like that pretty much seal your team's fate in a tournament with so many good teams .

I got to sit in the front row behind home plate next to Sarge Frye for the 2nd game against USC in 2002. That was miserable.

Good old days my @$$...all we did was choke. The 2002 team had no business losing the CwS that season with juice we had. Jeff Baker, Michael Johnson, and Khalil Green all hit 25+ HRs....we choked. Same with the 09' and 10' teams.

That 02 team was the best ever IMO, I thought for sure we were gonna win it that year. It was the last day of school for me so I was running home to catch that game if memory serves me right. I was 7 and Ill never forget I just kept wondering what the hell a rajun cajun was.
