Anybody remember how Wiggins struggled 2 years ago in one game?

I think the expression was "he got embarrassed." Anybody remember the leaps and bounds he improved after that game.

Well, the good news is, a lot of young guys will look at the tape today with the coaches and see that they, too, "got embarrassed." The difference is the game was well in hand when they did so very few people noticed.

Not saying all of them will improve as dramatically or as quickly as Wiggins did. But, I expect a lot of the guys on the 3 deep depth chart will have their eyes opened and respond accordingly.

Sam Hartman and a couple of Wake’s WRs lit Wiggins on fire in 2022. As you said, shortly thereafter Wiggins improved at a rapid rate. By late season 2022 he was a star.

Cal is not a terrible team. It is Stanford that is the awful addition to the ACC. FSU’s defense is erratic, but I thought FSU’s DL played pretty well last night. Your DBs got beat on numerous big plays in which they had covered their man well and (from what I could tell) also played their zone where they were supposed to be. Sometimes a DB just gets beaten, despite playing well on any given play.

FSU’s OL is a big big problem, IMO.

The OL is far and away the biggest problem with the FSU offense.

Disclaimer: I think Brock Glenn should have started yesterday. I am a long way from being a DJU apologist. But, the OL is a far bigger problem than DJU is when it comes to the poor play of the Nole offense.

Most players who are third string are never going to be stand out players. I think some on this board go too far trying to emphasize the importance of reserves playing significant minutes.
